Clary Sage Powder, also known as Salvia sclarea, is basically a biennial herb. It is a herb native throughout Europe and central and east Asia. Though, it was historically found in France, Switzerland, Italy and Syria. It reaches a height of one meter at the time of maturity. It has wooly texture leaves. The flowers on this herb appear in clusters on its stem and are often of the color pink, white or pale purple. Evodia Rutaecarpa contains the extracts of the plant Tetradium, which is a genus in the family Rutaceae, also known as the Bee bee tree, or Evodia. This extracts contain a chemical which is called evodiamine, which seems to influence the uncoupling protein 1, also called thermogenin, which is involved in the process allowing energy to be burned as heat. Evodiamine is actually a bioactive alkaloid, used by the traditional Chinese medicine for ages under the name Wu Chu Yu in connection with weight control and fat burning solutions for overweight to obese people. Evodiamine seems to interact with vanilloids, with the effect that the uptake of fat is lowered, but at the same time the fat burning rate is increased, resulting in actual weight loss.

Octopamine, which is a trace amine, recently believed to be a lipotropic for fat loss. Octopamine has low oral bioavailability and is readily broken down by MAOI, as well as metabolized by the gut wall, which may mean it would not work well when taken orally, but more research is needed to prove its positive or negative effects.

Passion Flower- Passion vines, or Passiflora, are a 500 species strong genus of flowering plants that all belong to the family of Passifloraceae. Many other species contain beta carboline harmala alkaloids, which function as monoamine oxidase inhibitors and are powerful antidepressants.
